John Lopez, PT, is a physical therapist at SW Physical Therapy, providing orthopedic manual therapy and rehabilitation to people of all ages living in and around Tigard, Oregon, and throughout Washington County.
John earned his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, graduating summa cum laude.
John is a listed pelvic rehab practitioner by the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute; he was also certified in ergonomic assessment from the Back School of Atlanta. John is also trained by the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
John speaks English and Spanish fluently, allowing him to serve a diverse patient base. He loves helping people achieve active and pain-free lives. As a physical therapist, John manages a wide range of physical conditions, from neck and jaw disorders, to all the way down to plantar fasciitis, but he has special interests in manual therapy of the spine, contemporary pain neuroscience, and the treatment of sports injuries.
When he isn’t working or participating in professional education, John enjoys weight training, running, and spending time outdoors. He welcomes anyone seeking improved mobility to SW Physical Therapy today.
